Okay, I finally made the base model, modeling the internal workings for the model took forever, I had to properly place them without them having to poke out the model's sides when moving x.x. And the head was modeled from a sphere, no Softimage XSI used here.
I made Juro with his catroonish style with a realistic material set instead of his cell shaded. I'll make more up close renders to show the workings. Juro bears many design features from his older brothers, Rei, Ichiro and Jiro. Many call him "X" Kikaider, due to the fact that the glass spots on his body are in the shape of Xs, and then again, X is the Roman Numeral for 10, and Juro is the Japanese name for "Tenth Son". |
