Mysterious PDF file

I come through here sometimes, and every now and then, some PDF file pops up, trying to confirm a download with me. I dunno what it is or what it's for, but if it keeps popping up and is trying to download without my consent, then it must be bad.

Is there any way I could report this to dA?

Now I know I was not crazy... the exact same issue would happen on my other computer when I left DA open for long periods of time. The page would random shift to a randomly named .pdf and my whole computer would begin suffering massive lag until I forced firefox to abort. I have no clue what caused it then but it might be virus or cookie related.

Likely a cookie related item, .PDF files are photoshop documents, surely it must be text related, but even text can be harmful.

Ren have you scanned your computer using a spyware scanner such as Spybot Search & Destroy? It might very well be some sort of hijack attempt on your web browser. Also does this happen with a specific page on DA or does this happen on all pages? I have a good Cookie Tracker Eliminator that gets rid of tracker cookies if you're using Firefox.

If I remember right it is a spyware virus. Had that happen to my computer where it tried to download into a registered folder on the computer. UndyingNephalim did the right thing by outright ending firefox. That spy ware has been popping up more lately. ^^;
